Access to clean drinking water is one of the most fundamental prerequisites for a healthy, self-determined life. Where water can only be reached over long distances or is not hygienically safe, it shapes the everyday life of entire families and communities.

More than a water source

By supporting drinking fountains in Tanzania, we want to help improve access to clean water directly on site. A reliable fountain means far more than a water source: it can shorten distances, ease everyday life and create better conditions for hygiene, health and education.

Time for school, work and family

Children and families in particular benefit when clean water is closer and reliably available. Time that used to be spent fetching water can be used for school, work and family life.

For us, living space also means responsibility

For us, this commitment symbolises what we understand by living space: creating conditions in which people can develop and shape their future. We are pleased to make a concrete contribution beyond Switzerland with projects like this.
